# Math. vs Geometry Tutor

The clearest difference is monetization model: Geometry Tutor at free with in-app purchases against Math.'s subscription. Geometry Tutor also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 74%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Math.'s advantage is ratings volume (1.6K vs 4) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Math. sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Geometry Tutor sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Geometry Tutor holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Math. has 1.6K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 74% of Math.'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Geometry Tutor's.

Math. ships an update every 3 months, Geometry Tutor every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
