# Whopping Diggers vs Transformers Rescue Bots Hero

The clearest difference is update cadence: Whopping Diggers at every 2 months against Transformers Rescue Bots Hero's every 11 months. Whopping Diggers also leads on review sentiment (64% vs 39%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). Transformers Rescue Bots Hero's advantage is ratings volume (55K vs 105). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Whopping Diggers sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Transformers Rescue Bots Hero sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Transformers Rescue Bots Hero holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Transformers Rescue Bots Hero has 55K ratings behind it against 105, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Whopping Diggers's written reviews are positive against 39% of Transformers Rescue Bots Hero's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Whopping Diggers ships an update every 2 months, Transformers Rescue Bots Hero every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
