# HP vs My Optimum

The clearest difference is rating: HP at 4.7 against My Optimum's 4.3. HP also leads on review sentiment (36% vs 10%) and ratings volume (4.2M vs 96K). My Optimum's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HP holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HP has 4.2M ratings behind it against 96K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 36% of HP's written reviews are positive against 10% of My Optimum's.

HP ships an update every 2 months, My Optimum monthly. Both last shipped on October 22, 2026.
