# HP vs Verizon Cloud

HP and Verizon Cloud both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 69% of Verizon Cloud's written reviews are positive against 36% of HP's. HP's advantage is ratings volume (4.2M vs 143K) and chart position (#22 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for HP against 4.6 for Verizon Cloud. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HP has 4.2M ratings behind it against 143K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 36% of HP's written reviews are positive against 69% of Verizon Cloud's.

HP ships an update every 2 months, Verizon Cloud monthly. Both last shipped on October 14, 2026.
