# Cop's Overtime Calculator vs Write a letter

The clearest difference is update cadence: Cop's Overtime Calculator at every 2 weeks against Write a letter's every 3 months. Cop's Overtime Calculator also leads on review sentiment (52% vs 26%) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). Write a letter's advantage is rating (3.6 vs 3.4). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cop's Overtime Calculator sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Write a letter sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Write a letter holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 3.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 20 and 19 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Cop's Overtime Calculator's written reviews are positive against 26% of Write a letter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cop's Overtime Calculator ships an update every 2 weeks, Write a letter every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
