# Comviq vs LecToGo

The clearest difference is rating: Comviq at 3.6 against LecToGo's 2.3. Comviq also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (43 vs 7). LecToGo's advantage is review sentiment (63% vs 24%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Comviq holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Comviq has 43 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 24% of Comviq's written reviews are positive against 63% of LecToGo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Comviq ships an update fortnightly, LecToGo every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
