# Khan Academy vs Revolution Prep

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Khan Academy at 113K against Revolution Prep's 501. Khan Academy also leads on chart position (#65 vs unranked) and review sentiment (74% vs 63%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Khan Academy against 4.6 for Revolution Prep. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Khan Academy has 113K ratings behind it against 501, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 74% of Khan Academy's written reviews are positive against 63% of Revolution Prep's.
