# Spa Control vs Lung Rot

The clearest difference is rating: Lung Rot at 5.0 against Spa Control's 2.7. Lung Rot also leads on update cadence (every 11 days vs every 2 months). Spa Control's advantage is ratings volume (601 vs 4) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spa Control sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month and Lung Rot sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lung Rot holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spa Control has 601 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Spa Control ships an update every 2 months, Lung Rot every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
