# Planet Bom Bom vs School Dog

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Planet Bom Bom at 86% against School Dog's 41%. Planet Bom Bom also leads on ratings volume (6 vs 1). School Dog's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

School Dog holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Planet Bom Bom has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Planet Bom Bom's written reviews are positive against 41% of School Dog's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Planet Bom Bom ships an update every 3 months, School Dog weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
