# Laminitis vs NF+

The clearest difference is price: NF+ at Free against Laminitis's $5.99. NF+ also leads on review sentiment (64% vs 31%) and ratings volume (18 vs 5). Laminitis's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 3.9) and chart position (#60 vs unranked). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

NF+ is free to download; Laminitis costs $5.99 up front. Laminitis sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and NF+ sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Laminitis holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 18 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of Laminitis's written reviews are positive against 64% of NF+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Laminitis ships an update every 3 weeks, NF+ monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
