# Five Timer vs Beautiful Timer

The clearest difference is rating: Beautiful Timer at 5.0 against Five Timer's 4.4. Beautiful Timer also leads on price ($0.99 vs $1.99). Five Timer's advantage is review sentiment (81% vs 50%) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 39 months). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Five Timer costs $1.99 and Beautiful Timer $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Beautiful Timer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Five Timer has 34 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of Five Timer's written reviews are positive against 50% of Beautiful Timer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Five Timer ships an update every 3 months, Beautiful Timer every 39 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
