# iTantric vs Inner Child

The clearest difference is price: Inner Child at Free against iTantric's $3.99. Inner Child also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (393 vs 64). iTantric's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 14) and rating (4.9 vs 4.6). On review sentiment, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Inner Child is free to download; iTantric costs $3.99 up front. Inner Child sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. iTantric asks for nothing beyond the download.

iTantric holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Inner Child has 393 ratings behind it against 64, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of iTantric's written reviews are positive against 75% of Inner Child's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iTantric ships an update every 8 months, Inner Child fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
