# iTantric vs Reality checks

The clearest difference is rating: iTantric at 4.9 against Reality checks's 1.0. iTantric also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6) and ratings volume (64 vs 1). Reality checks's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 8 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 73%). On ads, monetization model, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

iTantric costs $3.99 and Reality checks $0.99 up front. Reality checks sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. iTantric asks for nothing beyond the download.

iTantric holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iTantric has 64 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of iTantric's written reviews are positive against 100% of Reality checks's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iTantric ships an update every 8 months, Reality checks daily. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
