# e2Remote Lite vs Counaris

The clearest difference is update cadence: Counaris at every 10 days against e2Remote Lite's every 2 months. e2Remote Lite's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. e2Remote Lite sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Counaris sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

e2Remote Lite ships an update every 2 months, Counaris every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
