# Hypotheticals vs RapidTV

The clearest difference is rating: RapidTV at 4.8 against Hypotheticals's 3.2. RapidTV also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (3.9K vs 5). Hypotheticals's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 12) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RapidTV sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Hypotheticals asks for nothing beyond the download.

RapidTV holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RapidTV has 3.9K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Hypotheticals's written reviews are positive against 52% of RapidTV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hypotheticals ships an update every 3 months, RapidTV every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
