# NewsFlash™ vs MiDiocesis

The clearest difference is rating: MiDiocesis at 5.0 against NewsFlash™'s 3.4. MiDiocesis also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 4 months). NewsFlash™'s advantage is ratings volume (39 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MiDiocesis holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NewsFlash™ has 39 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
