# Hallmark+ vs Christmas Plus

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Christmas Plus at 63% against Hallmark+'s 8%. Christmas Plus also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 8). Hallmark+'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (12K vs 9). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hallmark+ sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Christmas Plus asks for nothing beyond the download.

Hallmark+ holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hallmark+ has 12K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of Hallmark+'s written reviews are positive against 63% of Christmas Plus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hallmark+ ships an update monthly, Christmas Plus every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 15, 2026 respectively.
