# KRON4 News vs Temblor

The clearest difference is rating: KRON4 News at 4.7 against Temblor's 3.8. KRON4 News also leads on ratings volume (17K vs 12) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Temblor's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (53% vs 34%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

KRON4 News holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KRON4 News has 17K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of KRON4 News's written reviews are positive against 53% of Temblor's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

KRON4 News ships an update every 6 weeks, Temblor every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
