# PlayButton vs TD Snap®

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PlayButton at 100% against TD Snap®'s 31%. PlayButton also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.1) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). TD Snap®'s advantage is ratings volume (856 vs 2) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PlayButton sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per year and TD Snap® sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PlayButton holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TD Snap® has 856 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
