# Puffin Cloud Browser vs Browser Pro Fast & Secure

The clearest difference is rating: Browser Pro Fast & Secure at 4.5 against Puffin Cloud Browser's 3.9. Puffin Cloud Browser's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (61% vs 29%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Puffin Cloud Browser sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Browser Pro Fast & Secure sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Browser Pro Fast & Secure holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Puffin Cloud Browser has 6.7K ratings behind it against 870, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of Puffin Cloud Browser's written reviews are positive against 29% of Browser Pro Fast & Secure's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Puffin Cloud Browser ships an update every 6 weeks, Browser Pro Fast & Secure every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
