# DrawnStrips vs Léon bande dessinée

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Léon bande dessinée at 100% against DrawnStrips's 47%. Léon bande dessinée also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (5.1.1 vs 18.0). DrawnStrips's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 12 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DrawnStrips sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Léon bande dessinée sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DrawnStrips ships an update every 3 weeks, Léon bande dessinée every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
