# Potty Training Time vs Potty Whiz

The clearest difference is ads: Potty Training Time at none against Potty Whiz's shown. Potty Training Time also leads on review sentiment (62% vs 44%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). Potty Whiz's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 14 months) and rating (4.6 vs 4.2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Potty Training Time sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and Potty Whiz sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Potty Whiz holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Potty Whiz has 1.9K ratings behind it against 60, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Potty Training Time's written reviews are positive against 44% of Potty Whiz's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Potty Training Time ships an update every 14 months, Potty Whiz every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
