# Daikin eQuip vs RIDGID Connect

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Daikin eQuip at 64% against RIDGID Connect's 0%. RIDGID Connect's advantage is rating (3.6 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RIDGID Connect holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RIDGID Connect has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Daikin eQuip's written reviews are positive against 0% of RIDGID Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
