# Daikin eQuip vs First Living

The clearest difference is update cadence: Daikin eQuip at every 2 months against First Living's every 13 months. First Living's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Daikin eQuip ships an update every 2 months, First Living every 13 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
