# Encrypt.me vs Mobolize

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Mobolize at none against Encrypt.me's 3. Mobolize also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (75% vs 52%). Encrypt.me's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (5.7K vs 17). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Encrypt.me sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Mobolize asks for nothing beyond the download.

Encrypt.me holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Encrypt.me has 5.7K ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Encrypt.me's written reviews are positive against 75% of Mobolize's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Encrypt.me ships an update every 2 months, Mobolize every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
