# Encrypt.me vs 360 Encrypt

Encrypt.me and 360 Encrypt both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 78% of 360 Encrypt's written reviews are positive against 52% of Encrypt.me's. Encrypt.me's advantage is ratings volume (5.7K vs 8) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Encrypt.me sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and 360 Encrypt sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Encrypt.me against 4.5 for 360 Encrypt. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Encrypt.me has 5.7K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.
