# King of Math vs Speed Math

The clearest difference is update cadence: Speed Math at every 4 days against King of Math's every 3 weeks. Speed Math also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). King of Math's advantage is ratings volume (3.1K vs 63) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. King of Math sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Speed Math sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

King of Math holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: King of Math has 3.1K ratings behind it against 63, so its average is the more settled of the two. King of Math ships an update every 3 weeks, Speed Math every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
