# Retty vs HITOSARA

The clearest difference is rating: HITOSARA at 5.0 against Retty's 4.5. HITOSARA also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). Retty's advantage is ratings volume (33 vs 1) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HITOSARA holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Retty has 33 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Retty's written reviews are positive against 26% of HITOSARA's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Retty ships an update every 6 days, HITOSARA every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
