# Cut the Buttons vs Vector

The clearest difference is price: Cut the Buttons at Free against Vector's $0.99. Cut the Buttons also leads on review sentiment (66% vs 40%) and ratings volume (72 vs 10). Vector's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7) and rating (4.2 vs 4.0). On update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Cut the Buttons is free to download; Vector costs $0.99 up front. Cut the Buttons sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Vector asks for nothing beyond the download.

Vector holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cut the Buttons has 72 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of Cut the Buttons's written reviews are positive against 40% of Vector's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cut the Buttons ships an update every 3 months, Vector every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
