# Pilot vs Road Wars

The clearest difference is ads: Road Wars at none against Pilot's shown. Road Wars also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 9 days). Pilot's advantage is ratings volume (223K vs 2) and chart position (#111 vs unranked). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Road Wars holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pilot has 223K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pilot ships an update every 9 days, Road Wars every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
