# Yandex Navi vs MapFactor Navigator

The clearest difference is update cadence: Yandex Navi at weekly against MapFactor Navigator's every 6 weeks. Yandex Navi also leads on ratings volume (30K vs 837) and chart position (#91 vs unranked). MapFactor Navigator's advantage is review sentiment (57% vs 35%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Yandex Navi sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and MapFactor Navigator sells 26 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Yandex Navi against 4.7 for MapFactor Navigator. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yandex Navi has 30K ratings behind it against 837, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 35% of Yandex Navi's written reviews are positive against 57% of MapFactor Navigator's.

Yandex Navi ships an update weekly, MapFactor Navigator every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
