# Arcinfo vs ajour

The clearest difference is update cadence: ajour at every 3 weeks against Arcinfo's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Arcinfo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month and ajour sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Arcinfo ships an update every 2 months, ajour every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
