# SmartHub vs ETSU Package Locker

The clearest difference is update cadence: SmartHub at every 2 months against ETSU Package Locker's every 39 months. SmartHub also leads on ratings volume (2K vs 10) and rating (2.7 vs 2.5). ETSU Package Locker's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 17%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SmartHub holds the better App Store score, 2.7 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SmartHub has 2K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of SmartHub's written reviews are positive against 33% of ETSU Package Locker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SmartHub ships an update every 2 months, ETSU Package Locker every 39 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
