# SmartHub vs AEC Mobile

The clearest difference is ratings volume: SmartHub at 2K against AEC Mobile's 10. SmartHub also leads on review sentiment (17% vs 0%) and chart position (#87 vs unranked). AEC Mobile's advantage is rating (3.0 vs 2.7) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AEC Mobile holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SmartHub has 2K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of SmartHub's written reviews are positive against 0% of AEC Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SmartHub ships an update every 2 months, AEC Mobile every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
