# Docusign vs SignNow

The clearest difference is rating: Docusign at 4.9 against SignNow's 4.5. Docusign also leads on ratings volume (832K vs 18K). SignNow's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Docusign sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and SignNow sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Docusign holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Docusign has 832K ratings behind it against 18K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 70% of Docusign's written reviews are positive against 65% of SignNow's.

Docusign ships an update every 3 weeks, SignNow every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
