# AirForShare vs Send Anywhere

The clearest difference is ads: AirForShare at none against Send Anywhere's shown. AirForShare also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 14.1). Send Anywhere's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 17 months) and ratings volume (55K vs 4). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AirForShare sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Send Anywhere sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for AirForShare against 4.7 for Send Anywhere. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Send Anywhere has 55K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 85% and 85% positive.

AirForShare ships an update every 17 months, Send Anywhere monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
