# AirForShare vs TeamViewer Remote Control

AirForShare and TeamViewer Remote Control both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 85% of AirForShare's written reviews are positive against 46% of TeamViewer Remote Control's. AirForShare also leads on device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 17.7). TeamViewer Remote Control's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 17 months) and ratings volume (45K vs 4). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AirForShare sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and TeamViewer Remote Control sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $619.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for AirForShare against 4.7 for TeamViewer Remote Control. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TeamViewer Remote Control has 45K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 85% of AirForShare's written reviews are positive against 46% of TeamViewer Remote Control's.

AirForShare ships an update every 17 months, TeamViewer Remote Control every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
