# AirForShare vs SHAREit

AirForShare and SHAREit both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 85% of AirForShare's written reviews are positive against 28% of SHAREit's. AirForShare also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). SHAREit's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 17 months) and ratings volume (151K vs 4). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AirForShare sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and SHAREit sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AirForShare holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SHAREit has 151K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 85% of AirForShare's written reviews are positive against 28% of SHAREit's.

AirForShare ships an update every 17 months, SHAREit fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
