# ATVision Mobile vs Amcrest View Pro 2

The clearest difference is rating: Amcrest View Pro 2 at 2.1 against ATVision Mobile's 1.5. Amcrest View Pro 2 also leads on ratings volume (93 vs 2). ATVision Mobile's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 8 months) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 12.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Amcrest View Pro 2 holds the better App Store score, 2.1 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Amcrest View Pro 2 has 93 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of ATVision Mobile's written reviews are positive against 15% of Amcrest View Pro 2's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ATVision Mobile ships an update every 3 months, Amcrest View Pro 2 every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
