# CH3 Plus vs Tencent Video

The clearest difference is rating: Tencent Video at 3.3 against CH3 Plus's 3.0. Tencent Video also leads on chart position (#82 vs unranked) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 181). CH3 Plus's advantage is review sentiment (30% vs 18%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CH3 Plus sells 30 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Tencent Video sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tencent Video holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tencent Video has 1.1K ratings behind it against 181, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of CH3 Plus's written reviews are positive against 18% of Tencent Video's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CH3 Plus ships an update fortnightly, Tencent Video every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 16, 2026.
