# My Duck Log vs Duck Tech

The clearest difference is price: My Duck Log at Free against Duck Tech's $4.99. My Duck Log also leads on rating (4.6 vs 3.9) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 39 months). My Duck Log is free to download; Duck Tech costs $4.99 up front. My Duck Log sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Duck Tech asks for nothing beyond the download.

My Duck Log holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: My Duck Log has 159 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of My Duck Log's written reviews are positive against 75% of Duck Tech's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
