# Brosix vs Eddy

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Eddy at 100% against Brosix's 21%. Eddy also leads on rating (4.2 vs 2.5) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Brosix's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Eddy holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Eddy has 22 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 21% of Brosix's written reviews are positive against 100% of Eddy's.

Brosix ships an update every 2 months, Eddy every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
