# Retro Ford vs CrossStitcher

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Retro Ford at 83% against CrossStitcher's 19%. Retro Ford also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). CrossStitcher's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (258 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Retro Ford sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and CrossStitcher sells 43 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Retro Ford holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CrossStitcher has 258 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 83% of Retro Ford's written reviews are positive against 19% of CrossStitcher's.

Retro Ford ships an update every 3 months, CrossStitcher fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 18, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
