# Cabify vs SEM Mobile

The clearest difference is rating: Cabify at 4.8 against SEM Mobile's 4.4. Cabify also leads on ratings volume (32K vs 711) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). SEM Mobile's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Cabify holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cabify has 32K ratings behind it against 711, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 22% of Cabify's written reviews are positive against 13% of SEM Mobile's.

Cabify ships an update weekly, SEM Mobile monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
