# Florida Lottery vs LCEC

The clearest difference is rating: Florida Lottery at 3.5 against LCEC's 2.8. Florida Lottery also leads on ratings volume (4K vs 20) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). LCEC's advantage is review sentiment (38% vs 19%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Florida Lottery holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Florida Lottery has 4K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 19% of Florida Lottery's written reviews are positive against 38% of LCEC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
