# Florida Lottery vs Vortex Express

The clearest difference is rating: Vortex Express at 5.0 against Florida Lottery's 3.5. Vortex Express also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Florida Lottery's advantage is ratings volume (4K vs 2) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Vortex Express holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Florida Lottery has 4K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Florida Lottery ships an update every 2 months, Vortex Express every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
