# YouSee Play vs Allente

The clearest difference is rating: Allente at 5.0 against YouSee Play's 3.8. Allente also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). YouSee Play's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (30% vs 0%). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Allente holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YouSee Play has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of YouSee Play's written reviews are positive against 0% of Allente's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

YouSee Play ships an update every 2 weeks, Allente monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
