# Alarm Clock HD vs Timer Pro

The clearest difference is ads: Timer Pro at none against Alarm Clock HD's shown. Timer Pro also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). Alarm Clock HD's advantage is ratings volume (104K vs 10) and rating (4.5 vs 4.2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alarm Clock HD sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and Timer Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Alarm Clock HD holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Alarm Clock HD has 104K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two.
