# Alarm Clock HD vs Clock

Alarm Clock HD and Clock both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 71% of Clock's written reviews are positive against 32% of Alarm Clock HD's. Clock also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.6). Alarm Clock HD's advantage is ratings volume (104K vs 461). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alarm Clock HD sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and Clock sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Alarm Clock HD against 4.4 for Clock. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Alarm Clock HD has 104K ratings behind it against 461, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 32% of Alarm Clock HD's written reviews are positive against 71% of Clock's.
