# Philharmonie Live vs Classical Music Player ٞ

The clearest difference is ads: Philharmonie Live at none against Classical Music Player ٞ's shown. Philharmonie Live also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Classical Music Player ٞ's advantage is ratings volume (740 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 15.1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Philharmonie Live holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Classical Music Player ٞ has 740 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Philharmonie Live's written reviews are positive against 61% of Classical Music Player ٞ's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Philharmonie Live ships an update every 2 months, Classical Music Player ٞ every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
